Interval Exercise with Constant Pace and Equal Rests

Exercise:

 

 

Distance = 2 Km

Run Time = 9:30

Segments = 5

Rest Time = 7:00

The vertical yellow bars show where the rests occur and how long they are.

1. Enter 2 in the Distance box.

 

2. Press Tab.

 

Note that the Run Time changes automatically and in proportion.

3. Enter 930 in the Run Time box.

 

4. Press Tab.

6. Enter 5 in the Segments box.

 

7. Press Tab.

 

8. Enter 700 in the Total Rest box.

 

9. Press Tab

 

11. Click on the Save button.

 

 

 

If you click on the MP3 button and the exercise has not yet been saved, the Save Exercise window will open.

12. Type in a name for the exercise.

 

 

Use a descriptive name like, Intervals 2K 9min 30sec 5seg rest 7min.

13. Click on Save.

14. Click on the MP3 button.

 

 

Converts the exercise into the MP3 format.

 

The Progress Bar shows how much of the exercise has been converted to MP3.

 

15. Go to:

C:\Program Files\KIP RunPacer\Exercises

 

 

16. Drag the Intervals 2K 9min 30sec 5seg rest 7min folder to the MP3 player.
