Pace Exercise with Warm-up and Cool-Down

Exercise:

 

 

Segment 1:

 

250 meters at a pace of 5 km/h.

Segment 2:

 

250 meters where the pace increases gradually from 5 to 10 km/h.

Segment 3:

 

3800 meters at a pace of 10 km/h.

Segment 4:

 

200 meters where the pace decreases gradually from 10 to 3 km/h.

Segment 5:

 

500 meters at a pace of 3 km/h.

1. Enter 5 in the Distance box.

 

2. Press Tab twice.

 

Note that the Run Time changes automatically and in proportion

3. Enter 5 in the Segments box.

 

4. Press Enter.

6. Click in the first cell of the Data Table

 

7. Enter .25

8. Press Tab

9. Enter 300

 

10. Press Tab

 

Continue until the Data Table is completed.

11. Click on the Save button.

 

 

 

If you click on the MP3 button and the exercise has not yet been saved, the Save Exercise window will open.

12. Type in a name for the exercise.

 

 

Use a descriptive name like, Pace warm-up cool-down.

13. Click on Save.

14. Click on the MP3 button.

 

 

Converts the exercise into the MP3 format.

 

The Progress Bar shows how much of the exercise has been converted to MP3.

 

15. Go to:

C:\Program Files\KIP RunPacer\Exercises

 

 

16. Drag the Pace warm-up cool-down folder to the MP3 player.
